This new lasagna is created around the delicious contrast between the sweetness of the pears and the savory flavor of Taleggio cheese.
The pears are first caramelized in the oven with thyme and extra virgin olive oil.
I layer the pears and Italian Taleggio cheese with béchamel sauce on my own spinach pasta sheets; I make these with local organic eggs, flour and spinach. I finish it with a sprinkle of grated Italian Parmigiano cheese.
The flavor is delicate and delicious.
